Welcome to the international website of Athletes in Action in the Netherlands. Here you’ll find some general information about Athletes in Action, as well as information about getting involved in one of our projects in the Netherlands.
Athletes in Action Holland (AIA) is a movement of young people and churches with a passion for sports, people, and Jesus, who uses sports as a means to an end: sharing the gospel of Jesus. Engaging in sports easily creates contact and bonding that allows for relationships to be built. Every year, AIA organizes projects worldwide, events, and sports camps.
HeartBeat Europe
From July 16th to the 5th of August hundreds of young missionaries will hit the streets of the largest and most important cities of Europe. By playing sports and building relationships they will share the gospel of Jesus Christ with local youth in London, Barcelona, Rome, Tallinn and many others. You can be part of this!
After an amazing preparation conference in London, you will go with a team of young people into the neighborhoods of a city. You will serve a church in reaching out to their community and empower them to start their own ongoing sports ministry.
